Sundays can be ‘busy’ times at church and although you will be made very welcome on Sunday mornings, it can be very difficult in practical terms to really get to know you in such a short time every week. That’s why we have Small Groups, which are an integral part of life at Hope Community Church Aintree.

‘So what is a Small Group then?’ It’s an opportunity to meet with others who go to the church and get to know them better in a friendly and informal environment. We encourage everyone who comes on Sundays to become part of one of these groups, which usually meet weekly in homes around the area.

They’re called a ‘small group’ because we only have 8-14 people in each group, that way everyone can help and support each other like a family.

Here we learn to get to know and care for each other, as well as others who don’t come to our church, which gives us an outward focus. We study the Bible together and seek to encourage each other, sharing both the good and not so good things that we face in life every day in this modern, fast changing world. Needless to say, we also socialise and have great fun together.
